After months of work we finally have a new option available in the small boat market. The idea has come from the feedback of many out there pushing there ski powered boats and the common feedback is impeller wear and engine rebuild costs.
Working with Sean at Saco Water Jet we have been able to develop a 160mm two stage jet unit that is available exclusively through Peak Marine. This has a one piece stainless stator housing with custom cast stainless impellers, alloy tail pipe with trim and a ducted reverse bucket to suit.
Next step was an intake that removed the need for cutting sumps or huge wedges. Alongside ASP castings we have been able to make this happen and the results are perfect.
The engine - this is a 150hp, 2.0L Honda car engine from 06-14 that we have stripped right back to then maranise and wire running a MaxxEcu. This is raw water cooled and with its single port exhaust nice and compact.
Lastly we have the option of a custom turbo to really make the boat come to life. This features a cast alloy waterjacketed exhaust housing which means no heat in the engine bay.
